Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Utility Energy and Conservation Analyst 1 to review and analyze electric and natural gas utility filings and forecast methods. This role supports documentation and written materials for stakeholders and works with staff across the Bureau to inform decisions.

The position offers full-time hours, a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, and possible telework with mandatory in-office attendance at headquarters. PA residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of utility energy related experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of utility energy related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Examine utility filings to determine adequacy and reliability of services.
• Assess forecasting methods and data used by electric utilities for regional planning.
• Prepare written orders, reports, and memos on energy industry topics.
• Collaborate with Bureau staff to support reviews and decisions on utility operations.
• Participate in meetings and webinars to identify issues affecting forecasts and performance.
