Job summary

Constellation is seeking a proactive public affairs professional to devise externally focused communications strategies that build and sustain relationships with NGOs, trade associations, think-tanks and energy influencers in Texas and California.

You will lead coalition building, manage stakeholder outreach across events, digital campaigns, and lobbying efforts, and coordinate with Government Affairs, Communications, Marketing, and other teams to advance policy priorities and grow support for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8 years of experience in political/policy communications, advocacy, journalism, or related fields.
• Excellent writer and cogent thinker.
• Familiarity with digital campaigning and social media campaigning.
• Demonstrated talent for strategic problem-solving with a bias for action.
• Demonstrated organizational agility.
• Demonstrated excellence in project management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Government Affairs, Communications, Marketing, Legal to develop and execute campaign plans.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and advocates.
• Lead advocacy, education and engagement across channels including grassroots mobilization and events.
• Monitor emerging issues at federal and state levels.
• Provide strategic recommendations to advance policy priorities.
• Create and execute plans for state and federal public policy objectives.
• Develop relationships with thought leaders and grassroots coalitions.
• Manage agency contracts to build digital campaigns and messaging documents.
