Job summary

The position involves coordinating with administration, operating and maintaining multiple boilers, and supporting an energy center that serves the campus.

Qualifications

• Experience or training evidence of ability to perform the duties is required; probationary period applies.
• Qualification elements include the ability to read blueprints, interpret instructions, and use measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Energy Plant: responsible for boiler plant automation and BAS.
• Repairing, operating, and maintaining boilers (1000 hp and related units).
• Operate chillers and HVAC/R systems, and BAS controls.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment to meet clinical center requirements.
• Coordinate engineering responses with Medical Center administration.
• Prepare safety measures for critical boiler equipment and ensure safe operations.
