Job summary

Wabash Valley Power, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, operates a 24/7 Operations Center to ensure reliable energy delivery to our member cooperatives. In this role you will coordinate communication between IOUs, WVPA members and the operations team, and support real-time monitoring and control systems.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Engineering or a technical field (or equivalent), with preferred Operations Center experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience in an Operations Center or managing transmission/substation equipment.
Knowledge of electric power system reliability standards preferred.
Ability to obtain NERC and PJM certifications within nine months of hire.

Responsibilities

Coordinate communication between IOUs, WVPA members and the operations team.
Monitor transmission and distribution using EMS and SCADA systems.
Develop and implement operational procedures in line with member cooperatives and IOUs.
Ensure compliance with NERC reliability standards and safety practices.
Support 24/7 Operations Center during planned or emergency events.
