Delta E Consulting in Seattle, WA seeks a mid-level energy modeling professional to join our Energy Services Studio. You will lead energy analyses across projects including multifamily, commercial, healthcare, and education, applying EnergyPlus/OpenStudio and other tools to improve design performance.

This role emphasizes collaboration with sustainability and commissioning teams, regulatory knowledge of Washington codes, and advocacy for decarbonization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional energy modeling experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and LEED rating systems.
• Experience with energy modeling tools (EnergyPlus/OpenStudio, eQUEST, IESVE).

Responsibilities

• Lead energy consulting coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Model energy systems for multifamily, commercial, healthcare, and other project types.
• Engage with clients to integrate energy strategies into project designs.
• Prepare documentation for energy code compliance and permits across jurisdictions.
• Support sustainability certifications (LEED, Living Building Challenge, Green Globes, etc.).
• Contribute to internal education on energy topics.
