Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Senior Energy/ sustainability lead to drive advanced energy simulations and decarbonization strategies for multi-facility projects.

You will translate complex energy codes and emissions legislation for client outcomes, oversee tool-based analyses (ClimateStudio, EnergyPlus, Grasshopper/Ladybug) and collaborate with external partners to test pilot digital building technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of advanced technical experience in energy simulation, computational design, or auditing within an AEC firm or related consulting environment.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or related field; active professional credential (e.g., PE, AIABEMP) preferred; Master’s preferred.
• Strong conceptual and high-level technical understanding of modern low-carbon solutions to guide clients through technology selections.
• Proven track record of executing complex building performance simulation toolsets with coordinated high-performance system designs.
• Experience interpreting energy codes and emissions legislation across portfolios.
• Proficiency with ClimateStudio, EnergyPlus, Grasshopper/Ladybug to automate analyses and handle large datasets.
• Ability translating engineering data into standardized metrics and executive-level analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scoping, planning and delivery of GHG inventories and energy simulations.
• Translate complex legislation for programmatic improvements and decarbonization roadmaps.
• Develop advanced analytics and models to justify scenarios to client C-Suite.
• Collaborate with external partners to test, validate, and pilot digital building technologies.
