Aspen Careers, LLC is partnering with a well-established national law firm to identify an Energy Associate to join its Energy Mineral Title practice in Charleston, WV. The candidate should have 2–5 years of attorney experience and be interested in developing a career in energy law focusing on property, mineral title, and related matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills, familiarity with title review and mineral rights, and be licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of attorney experience.
• General property, mineral title, oil and gas, or energy experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing title, mineral rights, oil and gas leases, property records.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform title examinations and review mineral ownership matters.
• Conduct due diligence on energy-related properties.
• Draft and edit legal documents and agreements.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on energy matters.
