Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Energy Markets & Sustainability Analyst to advise commercial and municipal clients on energy procurement, market direction, and regulatory impacts. The role focuses on energy strategies, pricing insights, and long-term client success.

Responsibilities include market research, modeling, and drafting recommendations, with travel to client sites as needed. A BS/BA and 3+ years in energy markets are required, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of energy market experience in energy procurement, supplier, or consulting roles.
• Knowledge of US energy markets, hedging, forwards and futures.

Responsibilities

• Advise North American clients on energy market direction, product structuring, timing, and strategy for retail energy and renewable energy products.
• Manage client relationships through account management, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and transactional support.
• Explain regional power pricing structures across North American RTOs.
• Support projects with market research, opportunity development, modeling, and writing.
• Guide clients on optimal energy procurement terms and contract structure.
• Analyze energy regulation and tariff modeling for power and gas.
