Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Energy Markets & Sustainability Analyst to join its energy management team in Boston. This client-facing role provides advisory services on energy market fundamentals, forward pricing, and renewable energy opportunities for large commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.

Responsibilities include market research, modeling, and advising on energy procurement strategies, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Math, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of energy market experience in end-user, supplier, or consulting roles.
• Knowledge of energy markets, hedging, and forwards.

Responsibilities

• Advise North American clients on energy market direction and product structuring.
• Manage client relationships through account management and reporting.
• Explain regional power pricing across North American RTOs.
• Support projects with market research, modeling, and writing.
• Analyze energy regulation and tariff modeling for power and gas.
