Job summary

Devon is seeking a corporate development professional to build and maintain sophisticated financial models (DCF, NAV, comps) evaluating acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers within the energy sector. You will support senior leadership with pro forma analyses, due diligence, and a range of investment materials.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in investment banking, PE, or corporate development, with experience in E&P M&A or A&D transactions, and familiarity with Enverus, FactSet, or Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business.
• Experience 3+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development with exposure to E&P M&A or A&D transactions.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains financial models (DCF, NAV, comps) for acquisition/merger analysis.
• Supports investment screening materials and pro forma analyses for leadership and Board.
• Participates in due diligence and synthesizes inputs into investment-ready analyses.
• Develops analytical infrastructure (templates, comps libraries, diligence frameworks).
• Monitors energy market activity to identify opportunities and inform deal positioning.
• Assists in bid packages, IOIs, and LOIs for A&D transactions with cross-functional teams.
• Maintains relationships with energy investment banking professionals for market intel.
• Collaborates with Finance, Strategy, and Engineering to reflect current assumptions.
