Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s New York office is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join the Global Power and Energy Group. You will work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, M&A, joint ventures, and capital markets engagements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of investment banking experience, preferably in Power and Utilities, with strong financial statement literacy and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking as Analyst/Associate or MBA with deals across M&A and Power & Energy.
• Experience in Power and Utilities preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CA and/or CFA designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Join Global Power & Energy Group in New York and work with regional and international clients on complex transactions.
• Support execution of acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures and capital markets activities.
• Contribute to advisory assignments and strategic discussions with senior team members.
