The Role: We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our growing Washington, DC office and support a dynamic team focused on environmental and regulatory litigation. You'll take on sophisticated, sometimes high-stakes matters for clients nationwide — including significant energy infrastructure and pipeline litigation, as well as matters here in Pennsylvania. We welcome candidates from private practice as well as those coming from government service, including a federal agency (such as the U.S. EPA) or a U.S. Attorney's Office.
We are a nationally recognized law firm known for our litigation, environmental, and energy practices. Our litigation group is led by seasoned trial lawyers — including several former federal government attorneys — who work hand in hand with a deep bench of regulatory and environmental counsel advising clients across energy, technology, manufacturing, and other highly regulated industries. That integrated approach lets us take on our clients' most complex, high-stakes disputes with sophisticated, practical solutions.
This is a rare opportunity to step into significant, cutting-edge litigation from day one and to help build something as our Washington, DC office grows. You'll work on sophisticated matters that reach across the country, learn directly from accomplished trial lawyers and former government litigators, and have a real hand in shaping cases that matter. For attorneys coming out of government service, this is a natural bridge into private practice — a chance to keep doing high-caliber environmental and regulatory work without stepping back. We pride ourselves on a genuinely collaborative culture, an exceptional group of people, and a large, established client base that keeps the work interesting. Simply put, this is an exceptional chance to grow your practice alongside a team invested in your success.
We offer a competitive salary and bonus plan, plus a robust benefits package: medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; a 401(k) plan; phone allowance; and generous paid time off.
