Job summary

Teneo's Energy & Infrastructure Team is hiring Consultants and Senior Consultants in the United States. You will work in small teams on policy, technology and financial strategy for leading energy and infrastructure clients, with a focus on decarbonisation and sustainability.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in strategy or management consulting or energy/infrastructure, with strong analytical and communication skills; travel may be required, and a flexible office/remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (finance, engineering, economics, business or quantitative field).
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy/management consulting or energy/infrastructure environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure complex questions and derive insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing client-facing materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defined areas of client engagements with rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Develop the project “answer” from hypotheses through refinement with the case team.
• Produce clear, concise client deliverables and present findings with robust evidence.
• Participate in client meetings and build relationships with client counterparts.
• Support junior colleagues with guidance and feedback.
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and thought leadership and collaborate across teams.
