Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure Development team in Menlo Park, CA seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of the Energy Infrastructure Investments portfolio, coordinating across DEC, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development to deliver multi-billion-dollar projects on time and on budget.

You will establish governance, stage-gate processes, risk management, and executive reporting, while building scalable PM infrastructure and dashboards to keep leadership informed and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management, or related field.
• 15+ years of program management experience in energy infrastructure or large-scale capital projects.
• Proven track record managing multi-billion-dollar programs with external partners.
• Experience coordinating with utilities, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to drive governance, stage-gate processes, and executive storytelling.
• Strong financial literacy and capital budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end program management of Meta's energy infrastructure investment portfolio
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans and milestone trackers
• Drive predictable delivery with stage-gate processes and escalation paths
• Monitor program health across cost, schedule, risk, and interdependencies
• Identify and resolve cross-project dependencies and bottlenecks
• Design and operate governance framework for the Energy Infrastructure Investments pillar
• Establish operating rhythms and executive reporting cadences
• Create program dashboards and board-ready materials
• Own risk register and mitigation tracker
• Coordinate with internal and external partners across DEC, Corporate Development, Site Selection, Legal, Finance, Sustainability
• Align investment timelines with capacity forecasts and site readiness
• Track capital deployment with Finance and Accounting and support variance analysis
• Work with Legal on contracts and compliance milestones
• Coordinate with Corporate Development on deal closing and post-close governance
• Partner with Site Selection to integrate into diligence and regional development
• Integrate with capacity planning to reflect energy supply in long-range plans
• Build scalable program management infrastructure
• Develop standardized reporting and communication frameworks
• Drive lessons-learned and post-investment reviews
• Stay informed of industry best practices and apply innovative approaches
