Job summary

Amazon AWS Energy Team is seeking a results-oriented professional to drive energy projects across AWS regions, managing utilities, EPCs and Owners Engineers to deliver power infrastructure that supports global data centers.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve reliable, cost-effective energy delivery, including electricity tariffs, project scheduling, and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Utilities, EPC and Owner's Engineers to deliver a portfolio of inflight power generation and medium/high voltage power infrastructure projects.
  • Manage capital budgets for power infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams and regulated utilities on the implementation and management of energy and projects in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Identify and develop innovative cost savings projects and initiatives related to energy infrastructure and supply.
  • Work with utility regulators to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.
