Job summary

Google Cloud Communications is seeking a senior communications professional to shape and lead U.S.-focused PR campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, craft messaging, and engage journalists and influencers to tell the story of Google Cloud infrastructure.

You will build relationships with media, educate stakeholders, and help manage multiple campaigns with tight deadlines in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in communications, public relations, or public affairs.

Responsibilities

• Help drive the external communications campaign in support of Google’s data centers and infrastructure across the United States.
• Develop, write, and edit compelling communications materials, including announcements, key messaging, and more.
• Be a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to key business partners.
• Cultivate local, state, and national media relationships to drive awareness about how Google works with communities to build data centers the right way.
• Think creatively, take smart risks, and address tough issues.
