Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Dallas is seeking a Financial Analyst to track operations expense performance, forecast, and perform variance analysis. You will support short and long-range planning activities and help categorize projects for capitalization guidelines.

Collaborating with field analysts, operations management and project managers, you will budget, forecast, and develop financial dashboards to provide real-time insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred.
• 0-2 years for Analyst, 2-5 years for Analyst, 5-8 years for Sr Analyst.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed variance analysis of actual results vs plan, forecast, and KPI benchmarks.
• Collaborate with field and operations teams to budget and forecast projects.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for Joint Ventures.
• Assist in long-range planning and strategic decision-making.
