Job summary

EDF Trading North America, LLC offers a paid summer internship in Finance in Houston. You will engage in actual projects, gain market exposure, and receive coaching from leaders. The program may lead to a return internship or a Graduate Rotational Analyst role based on graduation date and business needs.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA path preferred, and must be available for at least ten weeks in Houston. U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• CPA seeking preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills, MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Excel.
• Knowledge in SQL, Artificial Intelligence, Automation technologies, preferred
• Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw actionable conclusions
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
• Previous internship experience preferred
• Proven leadership and/or participation in extracurricular activities
• Available for a minimum of ten consecutive weeks in EDF's North American Houston office

Responsibilities

• Hands-on participation in actual projects aligning to goals, creating reusable work and streamlined processes.
• Industry-specific and business skills training events, community service, and social activities.
• Opportunities to network with functional leaders
• Continuous coaching and development from Intern leadership, manager, and mentor(s)
• End of the summer presentation to leadership, showing learning and insights
