Job summary

Siemens Energy, a global energy technology leader, offers the North America Finance Excellence Academy Internship Program for Summer 2027. Based in locations such as Orlando, Houston, Alpharetta, Raleigh, or Charlotte, interns gain hands-on finance experience across areas like accounting, operations, and business controlling.

Interns are assigned to one finance area, work on forecasting, budgeting, close support, and financial analysis, using tools like Excel, Power BI, SAP, and more.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree and graduating by May 2028.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA and relevant prior work experience.
• Preferred experience with Excel and data tools such as PowerBI, Snowflake, and/or Alteryx.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a curious, proactive working style.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while contributing to a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close support.
• Conduct financial analysis and contribute to management reporting.
• Use Excel, Power BI, SAP and other systems to analyze data and communicate insights.
• Support process improvements, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Build professional networks and learn from Siemens Energy finance leaders.
