Google LLC in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Program Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary energy initiatives across regions, coordinating requirements, schedules, risks, and cross‑functional updates. The AI and Infrastructure team drives breakthroughs in energy policy, markets, and messaging, with a compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in program management and strategy development within an organization.
• Experience working in the energy industry, navigating external affairs, messaging strategy, and event strategy.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Influence the external energy ecosystem to enable Google to secure energy capacity and deliver sustainable growth.
• Regionalize Google’s global energy external affairs strategy in priority markets to address critical regional energy priorities.
• Shape and advance the company’s external narratives on key issues, including energy affordability, grid reliability, and carbon‑free energy.
• Develop robust stakeholder engagement strategies, raise awareness of Google’s approach and drive major external activations such as industry announcements.
• Act as a collaborative leader, working with a broad set of cross‑functional teams and external partners to bring complex projects from concept to completion.
