Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
• 3–5 years of energy/environmental litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on energy and environmental issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Participate in all discovery phases including document review and production.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness outlines and exhibits.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on strategy and development.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff.
