Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Environmental Counsel or Income Partner to join its Chicago, IL office. You will represent clients in regulatory and litigation matters in the energy sector, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and strategic counseling.

The role requires significant FERC experience, strong advocacy, and the ability to manage complex matters across practice areas, including M&A and corporate transactions. A JD with bar admission is required, and business development is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience representing clients before FERC.
• Experience with state energy regulatory agencies and public utility commissions.
• Strong regulatory and litigation experience in the energy sector.
• Experience advising on regulatory aspects of energy-related transactions.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage sophisticated client matters and collaborate across practice areas.
• Appetite for business development.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
