Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an Intern, Energy to join our Energy team for a summer internship. The role supports design work, data gathering, and piping assessments under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, with 40 hours per week and a standard 8am-5pm schedule.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), are proficient in Microsoft Office, and value teamwork, attention to detail, and learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work within a large team environment.
• Assist with designing energy production, gathering, processing, treating, compression, and pipelines.
• Design engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Perform schematic design work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
