Job summary

Stantec’s Energy practice invites engineering student interns to join our Southern California team to work on power delivery projects. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, gain practical experience, and contribute to real-world designs while earning a competitive wage.

Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited engineering program, with at least one year of coursework completed and a GPA around 3.0 preferred.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to design tasks.
• Basic understanding of CAD drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor, Revit) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for design projects and coordinate with other disciplines and CAD designers.
• Perform CAD drafting, sketches, and review design calculations and reports.
• Engage in product research, outreach, site visits, and project-related tasks as needed.
