Tetra Tech is seeking an Energy Engineer to support our energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. You will perform energy consumption calculations for residential, commercial, public, and industrial systems, and contribute to measurement/verification and data analysis efforts.

The role requires independent problem solving within project teams and offers a hybrid work environment with opportunities for career development and exposure to advanced analytics and engineering software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency codes or equipment efficiency standards; construction or design of energy efficient equipment; knowledge of building auditing or energy modeling; energy consumption regression modeling.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
• Programming knowledge in Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy consumption calculations for residential, commercial, public, and industrial systems.
• Plan and support measurement and verification or field investigation activities.
• Review energy efficiency and renewable energy calculations and assumptions.
• Report results and recommendations.
• Analyze data using engineering and statistical software programs.
