OLA Consulting Engineers, PC is seeking an Energy Engineer in Valhalla, NY with 4–8 years of experience to join our consulting engineering team. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4–8 years of U.S. consulting experience.
• Experience in proposal writing and project development.
• Experience managing and training junior engineers.
• Experience in performing and managing energy analysis.
• Experience in performing and managing commissioning services.
• Knowledge of automation and controls systems, HVAC, lighting, and lighting controls.
• Experience in writing and reviewing Sequence of Operations for HVAC and lighting systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of building and energy codes and energy standards.
• DOE2, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP or EnergyPlus experience preferred.
• LEED, CEM or Commissioning accreditations preferred.
• Professional Registration, PE (Mechanical) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy analysis studies and energy modeling for projects.
• Provide commissioning services for building systems.
• Conduct field investigations and troubleshooting.

Energy Engineer, 4-8 years | Valhalla, NY

OLA has an immediate need for an Energy Engineer interested in a career in consulting engineering and high-performance building systems. OLA is seeking Energy Engineers with four (4) to eight (8) years of experience for our team. Individuals will work on energy analysis studies, commissioning services, field investigations, project development, and improving building system performance for commercial and institutional facilities. Candidates should have knowledge of automation and control systems, HVAC systems, lighting and lighting controls, and building energy codes. The ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, design professionals, vendors, and peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Four to Eight (4-8) years of U.S. Consulting experience required
• Experience in proposal writing and project development
• Experience managing and training Junior Engineers
• Experience in performing and managing energy analysis
• Experience in performing and managing commissioning services
• Knowledge of automation and controls systems, HVAC systems, lighting, and lighting controls
