Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Please note - while this role is remotely-based, the clientele are located in central-western MD, as such candidates must be within driving distance of that area for regular travel.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join us as an Energy Engineer II. You will support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs through engineering calculations, building energy simulations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance. Your responsibilities will include designing technical strategies, analyzing data to recommend energy savings, developing plans, and reporting to ensure the success of client programs. You will also write technical documents, conduct quality reviews, oversee projects, and support business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate energy savings using engineering principles such as physics, thermodynamics, and statistics.
• Apply engineering principles effectively to our programs.
• Perform ASHRAE level II audits with assistance.
• Develop IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports.
• Create measures builds for program planning and business development.
• Develop tools and calculators for program use.
• Provide design recommendations for prescriptive projects and develop technical training materials.
• Analyze logger and utility data.
• Review filings and documents for technical accuracy and communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 0+ years.

Compensation

Target salary: $80,000 - $90,000
