Job summary

McClure Company in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Construction Project Development Specialist to drive energy-efficient building projects from site surveys through commissioning. You will work with sales and engineering teams to develop accurate solutions and deliver proposals, cost estimates, and drawings.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in construction, engineering, or energy, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in construction, engineering, or energy industry.
• Bachelor, Associate, or Trade School degree preferred.
• Industry certifications relatable to job requirements preferred (CEM, CMVP, PE, FE, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify existing systems and conditions within facilities.
• Facilitate communication among internal team, subcontractors, and customers.
• Assist with calculations and analyses focusing on energy, life cycle, and cost reviews.
• Identify and work with subcontractors to provide technical analysis and ensure quality.
• Support the sales teams by attending client meetings and presentations.
• Prepare and review project documents including bid docs, cost estimates, drawings, and specs.
• Provide engineering guidance throughout development, construction, commissioning and operations.
