Job summary

Everblue, a veteran-owned training company based in North Carolina, seeks a Technical Instructor to deliver engaging energy efficiency and weatherization training across classroom, virtual, and field settings.

This role involves hands-on demonstrations, curriculum collaboration, and travel across the Southeast to support programs nationwide, with onboarding and ongoing professional development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, training, coaching, mentoring, supervising, or developing adult learners
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to facilitate learning in classroom and field environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and related technology platforms
• Ability to manage logistics associated with travel-based training assignments
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and training environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and hands-on field training aligned with Everblue certification and workforce development programs
• Facilitate practical exercises and demonstrations while maintaining a safe and effective learning environment
• Travel throughout Georgia and the Southeast as needed to support training delivery
• Assess participant performance through field evaluations, skills demonstrations, and written assessments
• Collaborate with curriculum developers, clients, and operations staff to continuously improve training programs
• Prepare and maintain training materials, equipment, and classroom resources
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Everblue professionally with clients, partners, and participants
• Support workforce development initiatives that expand opportunities within the energy efficiency industry
