EcoCosm, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a hybrid role in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead energy efficiency upgrades for commercial buildings, ranging from $50,000 to $4 million.

You will own scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and cross-functional coordination with clients and partners. Daily duties include tracking milestones, mitigating risks, coordinating field teams at occupied sites, and delivering clear progress reports that keep projects on time, on budget, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of directly relevant project management experience in energy efficiency, retro-commissioning, MEP construction, building controls, or building-systems upgrade work.
• Working technical knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS; able to collaborate with engineers and controls contractors.
• Proven subcontractor management including bidding, buyout, scheduling, and safety oversight.
• Full ownership of project budgets, schedules, and change management.
• Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally nationally.
• Clean DMV record.

Responsabilités

• Own full project lifecycle for energy upgrade projects including scope, budget, schedule, procurement, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Develop scopes of work, lead bids and contracts for lighting, mechanical/HVAC, and controls trades.
• Direct subcontractor on-site work at occupied client sites.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and monthly billing.
• Translate audit findings into constructible, high-value scopes.
• Oversee functional testing of AHUs and VAVs; optimize control sequences with vendors.
• Manage utility incentive programs and documentation.
• Mentor assistant project managers and engineers.
• Collaborate with clients to align deliverables with sustainability goals.
