Job summary

WEC Energy Group's Chicago, IL office is seeking a Customer Program Associate to support the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs for residential and business customers. This hybrid role includes collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure program success, including goals, budget and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, and a willingness to learn energy efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; preferred fields include Business, Marketing, Engineering, Public Policy, Social Sciences.
• Entry level with some relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in program coordination, project management, customer-facing operations, energy efficiency, utilities, or related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience working with customers, contractors, vendors, or stakeholders in customer service or program support.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and able to analyze information to improve programs.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of customer energy efficiency programs and related initiatives.
• Lead the Trade Ally development effort to strengthen and expand the contractor network.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, trade allies, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
• Conduct field visits and customer site visits to gain insights into program delivery.
• Support outreach to customers and trade allies to promote participation.
• Identify opportunities for program improvements and support implementation.
• Develop, track and report program metrics.
• Lead daily customer experience support for assigned programs, including inquiries and issue resolution.
• Plan and implement customer satisfaction surveys and reports.
• Assist with departmental ad hoc projects as needed.
