Homestead Comfort is seeking a full-time Assistant Insulation Installer in Ellington, CT. The role focuses on installing insulation, sealing homes, and improving energy efficiency. Expect to operate from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime.

You will work with fiberglass and cellulose materials, carry out weather-stripping, and support energy conservation efforts across homes. A reliable team player with good communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Valid CT driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation.
• Basic math skills required for measurements and calculations.
• Craftsmanship with neat, careful workmanship and quality standards.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb a 20-foot ladder, and access attics/crawl spaces.
• Good spoken and written communication with customers and coworkers.
• Strong work ethic and reliability; solid interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation types such as fiberglass batts and blown-in materials.
• Seal homes, apply weather stripping, and assist with energy-saving measures.
• Move materials, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces daily.
• Maintain neat, careful workmanship and communicate politely with customers.
• Work individually or as part of a team to complete jobs on time.
