Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an Outreach Specialist to engage contractors, engineers, and consultants across New Jersey. You will train program allies, foster relationships, and develop projects with customers, while ensuring accurate data and timely communication with account teams.

You will travel within New Jersey, attend virtual and in-person workshops, and provide energy efficiency guidance to owners and managers. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of sales/account management experience.
• 1+ years of energy efficiency or utility/public agency exposure.
• Ability to decipher technical jargon and explain it to non-experts.

Responsibilities

• Engage, train and support contractors and program allies in Commercial & Industrial Programs.
• Foster relationships to maximize submitted projects’ size and number.
• Develop projects directly with client’s customers and keep Account Representatives informed.
• Attend events on behalf of the client and oversee on-site projects.
• Collect information with Case Managers to close out projects and provide written reports.
