Job summary

Energy Sciences is seeking a skilled energy efficiency practitioner to join our team. The role involves managing energy assessment projects (ASHRAE level I and II), identifying energy conservation measures, and engaging with clients and service providers on-site to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

You will calculate energy savings, interpret data from customers and utilities, and craft final reports for program stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
  • Two or more years of energy efficiency experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple ASHRAE energy assessments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Conduct energy assessments (ASHRAE level I and II), including identification of energy conservation measures.
  • Engage with customers and service providers at their locations as part of the assessment process.
  • Provide overall management, direction, and accountability on assigned projects to ensure progress and on-time, high-quality deliverables.
  • Calculate energy savings for various system or equipment changes using existing calculation tools, original spreadsheets, and/or generally accepted methodologies.
  • Interpret supply-side energy use/cost data collected from customer sources or directly through our client or the local utilities.
  • Communicate assessment results with a diverse audience on their level in a way that facilitates understanding and buy-in.
  • Contribute to peers through technical discussions and work review.
  • Draft a final report to be delivered to the program stakeholders on time
