Socket.dev is seeking a data analyst to support the Technical Solutions team with data analysis for energy efficiency and decarbonization programs serving residential and commercial sectors. You will analyze project data, validate data quality, and translate findings into actionable insights.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, performing profiling and trend analyses, and ensuring analyses align with energy engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Develop data analysis objectives from business needs and translate into data requirements.
• Ensure data quality and reliability for energy efficiency project datasets.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define measures and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members to understand analysis objectives and translate to data requirements.
• Perform hands-on energy efficiency data analysis (profiling, trends/outliers, reconciliation).
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure results align with building science principles.
• Use SQL, Power BI and Excel to validate data and produce repeatable analyses.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
