Job summary

PNM is seeking skilled Energy Technicians for the Friendswood area to perform construction, maintenance, and service tasks on electric distribution systems. You will work on overhead and underground facilities, respond to outages, and support safe, reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years electric utility or line construction experience.
• Valid CDL and ability to meet company driving standards.
• Knowledge of electric distribution system construction and maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues and restore service after outages.
• Install, maintain, and modify electric lines, transformers, and related equipment.
• Operate utility vehicles, aerial devices, digger derricks, and other equipment.
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians and apprentices.
