Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL license required.
• Experience in electric utility or line construction preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution system construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and restore service following outages and emergencies.
• Operate utility vehicles, aerial devices, digger derricks, and other specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, maps, diagrams, and operating instructions.
• Complete required work documentation, operational records, and reports.
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians and apprentices.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotations.
• Adhere to all company safety rules, standards, and operating procedures.
