Job summary

TotalEnergies seeks an Energy Data Portfolio Analyst to manage data across ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, and gas markets. You will collaborate with Front/Middle/Back Office and IT teams to ensure accurate settlement and reporting within ETRM and related platforms.

You will develop automated workflows (SQL, Alteryx, Python) and create Power BI dashboards to deliver imbalance analytics and commercial transparency. The role emphasizes accuracy and scalability in a dynamic energy landscape.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in North American power and/or gas markets, with exposure to ISO settlements.
• Experience with ETRM systems and financial reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Python, SQL, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, validate, reconcile, and book allocation, settlement, meter, price and contract data across ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, and physical gas portfolios.
• Perform end-to-end actualization of physical and financial transactions prior to settlement.
• Support shale netback processes with monthly settlements, adjustments, accrual analysis, and contract structure maintenance.
• Translate ISO market constructs (imbalance, ancillary services, congestion, RUC, resettlements, DAM/RT) into workflows and settlement models.
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate with ISOs, producers, gatherers, pipelines, and internal teams.
• Develop automated workflows using SQL, Alteryx, Python, and Power Automate to streamline data ingestion and validation.
• Build and maintain centralized data repositories and Power BI reporting for imbalance analytics and transparency.
• Support system onboarding, testing, and operational readiness assessments.
