Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics to energy-related consulting engagements. You will lead research design, collect and analyze data, develop modeling tools, and present findings to clients and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal teams to drive data-driven guidance for energy policy, decarbonization, and DSM topics. Qualified applicants have strong statistics, programming, and visualization skills.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related field with 6–8 years of experience, or BA/BS with 8–10 years experience.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software in R, Python or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations (R-Shiny, Flask, DASH, Power BI, Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage consulting projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, modeling tool development and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply statistical methods to assess program and policy impacts and provide recommendations.
• Communicate methods, findings, and results clearly in reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Manage consulting projects with collaboration, budgeting, invoicing, and staffing.
• Mentor junior staff and build client relationships through proactive communication.
• Identify opportunities to expand work with existing clients and support proposals.
