Job summary

Tarrant Regional Water District is seeking an Energy Intern to join the engineering and energy team. You will work on data analysis, modeling, and optimization across water resources, hydraulic, and energy challenges in the ERCOT market.

Responsibilities include using Power-BI, SQL, and Python to analyze multi-megawatt loads, present findings, and support continuous improvement efforts. Enrolled engineering/science/data analytics students encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Enrolled in accredited 4-year college/university in engineering sciences, mathematics, data science, or similar analytics field.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and modeling using tools such as Power-BI, SQL, and Python.
• Data processing to support energy market analyses and operations optimization.
• Communicate solutions via presentations, emails, or memos.
