BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Energy Counsel or Income Partner to join its Environmental practice in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on representing diverse clients in regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters within the energy sector.

The candidate should have significant FERC experience, state regulatory agency exposure, and strong advocacy skills, with ability to drive complex matters and collaborate across practices. Illinois bar admission preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with FERC.
• Experience with state energy regulatory agencies and public utility commissions.
• Strong regulatory and litigation experience in the energy sector.
• Experience advising on energy-related mergers, acquisitions, and transactions.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage sophisticated client matters and collaborate across practice areas.
• Business development skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
