EverWatt is hiring in Hayward, CA for a full-time role split between on-site inspections and office work. You’ll document lighting conditions, take photos, and record notes to support accurate audits and quotes.

Training is provided and you’ll work with the Audit Team to progress from smaller to larger sites. No prior experience is required; strong organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential.

Everwatt helps businesses save money and reduce energy use by upgrading their lighting systems. We provide comprehensive services including site audits, design of energy-efficient solutions, and full installation management for commercial properties like offices, healthcare facilities, and retail spaces.

Position Overview:

This role is split 50/50 between on-site inspections at customer buildings and office work in Hayward, CA. On-site, you’ll document existing lighting–taking organized photos, detailing notes, and using technical tools–so we can produce an accurate audit and quote without repeat visits.

No prior experience needed, but strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocol are essential. Training is on the job, working closely with our Audit Team, starting on smaller sites and working your way up to larger sites.

What We're Looking For:

• Solid sales experience preferably in renewables, HVAC, industrial, but no limited to those.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and comfortably travel to different sites.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year. This is a draw base salary with an opportunity to make commissions.

Commission pay example:

1 large project per year could net $100K - $200K in commissions. 1 Small project $50K in commissions per year. 1 mega project per year could net $200K - $300K + per year.
