Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking an experienced attorney to lead construction-focused transactions, including EPC and GMP contracts, for major energy projects. The role entails negotiating agreements, assessing risks, and advising internal clients throughout all phases of project contracting.

You will work with internal legal teams, outside counsel, and business units to ensure timely, compliant completion and to address warranty and performance issues.

Qualifications

• JD or LLB from an accredited law school and bar licensure.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in construction or energy contracts.
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft EPC, GMP and other design-bid-build agreements for large energy projects.
• Evaluate risks and liabilities of infrastructure projects and advise clients accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal legal teams, outside counsel and business units to ensure timely, compliant project completion.
• Prepare budgets and oversee outside counsel management.
