Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our Renewables Group, driving commissioning for utility-scale PV and energy storage projects across North America.

The role involves collaboration with project teams, engineers of record, and subcontractors to ensure timely, accurate handover of commissioning documentation and validation of systems on site. You will travel up to 75% to diverse project locations, develop expertise in PV and storage commissioning, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with PV and energy storage systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to US project locations up to 75%
• Support commissioning activities for PV, storage, and substations
• Review and interpret project specs and drawings
• Coordinate with Engineers of Record and subcontractors to ensure handover of commissioning documentation
