Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Newtown Square, PA offers a 12-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience across our commercial strategy and operations teams. Interns are paired with mentors, work on real projects, and gain exposure to revenue growth initiatives within our NGL and refined products markets.

You'll develop financial and analytical skills using Excel and PowerPoint, collaborate across Scheduling, Field Operations, and Engineering, and may be considered for full-time

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Energy Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling a plus.
• Interest in energy markets, infrastructure, and sustainable/renewable initiatives.
• Team-oriented mindset with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer relationship management and gathering requirements.
• Resolve operating issues and address commercial disputes.
• Support revenue growth initiatives.
• Review potential partnerships and strategic alliances.
• Prepare analyses and presentations for business cases.
• Analyze facility usage and revenue to optimize assets.
• Maintain competitor analyses.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Field Ops, and Engineering to support projects.
• Assist with budget development and preparation.
