Job summary

Texas Capital in Dallas seeks an experienced corporate banking professional to lead deal origination, underwriting, and portfolio management, driving client coverage and cross-functional collaboration.

You will supervise analysts and associates, manage deal flow, and partner with senior bankers to mitigate risk while optimizing returns for a growing book of business. The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of corporate banking experience with credit analysis or portfolio management
• Formal credit training or underwriting experience required
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
• Familiarity with diverse banking products and oil & gas financial modeling and analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead deal flow, underwriting, and portfolio management to deepen client relationships
• Oversee staffing and workload distribution for deals and pitches
• Review analysts’ work and provide feedback on credit screens and models
• Engage with clients and sponsors to resolve diligence items and gather information
• Monitor covenant compliance and financials across portfolios
• Collaborate with product partners to execute deals and ensure timely closings
• Maintain organized transaction documentation and drive process improvements
