Job summary

Cloud Software Group's Spotfire group seeks a Customer Success Lead Data Scientist with Energy Industry expertise to drive long-term customer success across a NAM portfolio, with on-site preference in Houston, TX or Colorado. You will translate business goals into data-driven solutions and act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams.

You will develop analytic deliverables using ML, time-series, and AI techniques, shaping prototypes and collaborations.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of data science experience using software environments and programming languages (Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview, SPSS, KNIME, Dataiku, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake)
• 6-8+ years of experience in advanced data analytics and delivery of demonstrations, projects, engagements or deployed software applications
• 6-8+ years of Industry experience in applying analytics to Energy sector data problems
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders
• Collaboration skills to work in internal and customer teams
• Bachelor or higher degree in STEM with graduate statistics/data mining courses
• Language Skills: English with Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Use Spotfire and data science to translate business objectives into actionable success plans.
• Act as trusted advisor through regular customer health assessments.
• Guide R&D topics in applied machine learning and AI, with prototypes.
• Collaborate with sales, support, product management, and engineering to align strategy and roadmaps.
• Engage with customers in Spotfire community and represent the team at events.
• Continuously develop expertise in industry analytics and visual data science.
