Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Lead Program Manager for Repair Development & Material Readiness to lead cross-functional initiatives impacting LM2500 engine throughput, material readiness, and new production capabilities. You will coordinate engineering, supply chain, operations, and external partners to ensure timely, scalable execution.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace or related industries, strong project leadership, and expertise in repair development and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management within aerospace, gas turbine MRO, manufacturing, or industrial operations environments.
• Experience leading crossfunctional technical programs involving engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Proven ability to manage repair development, NPI, or process qualification initiatives from concept through production readiness.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials qualification, and repair development workflows.
• Experience coordinating capital equipment projects, including installation, commissioning, and process validation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to anticipate operational and schedule impacts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, risk management, and execution tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, configuration management, and capacity planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new repairs and process enhancements with internal and external teams.
• Establish timelines, deliverables, and alignment to expedite repair qualification and release.
• Track progress, risks, and resource constraints.
• Prioritize material characterization and reverse‑engineering efforts with engineering.
• Drive local fabrication solutions, ensuring timely qualification and production readiness.
• Support supplier development and coordination with fabrication vendors.
• Manage insourcing key repair and manufacturing capabilities to enhance schedule control and reduce costs.
• Validate processes, equipment, and technical readiness with engineering and operations.
• Oversee equipment commissioning, installation, validation, and certification.
• Coordinate ERP improvement projects affecting material flow, work order configuration, and planning accuracy.
• Establish and maintain time standards with Industrial Engineering for accurate capacity planning and forecasting.
• Ensure configuration management updates are integrated across systems.
• Interpret engineering models, drawings, and specifications to anticipate downstream impacts.

Lead Program Manager - Repair Development & Material Readiness

The Lead Program Manager - Repair Development & Material Readiness is responsible for leading and coordinating crossfunctional initiatives that directly impact engine throughput, material availability, and internal capability expansion for the LM2500 platform. This role provides dedicated project leadership across engineering, supply chain, operations, and external partners to ensure repair development programs, material readiness efforts, and new production capabilities are executed on time and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Repair Development Program Management

• Coordinate new repairs and process enhancements with internal and external teams.
• Establish timelines, deliverables, and alignment to expedite repair qualification and release.
• Track progress, risks, and resource constraints.

Material Shortage Mitigation & Local Fabrication coordination

• Prioritize material characterization and reverse‑engineering efforts with engineering.
• Drive local fabrication solutions, ensuring timely qualification and production readiness.
• Support supplier development and coordination with fabrication vendors.

Support LM2500 Growth Through Insourcing Capabilities

• Manage insourcing key repair and manufacturing capabilities to enhance schedule control and reduce costs.
• Validate processes, equipment, and technical readiness with engineering and operations.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non‑exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
