Job Description
Job Title: Energy Advisor Reports
To: VP of Sales and Marketing
Pay Type: Base + commission
LOCATION: This job territory will be mostly NH and/ or VT.

We achieve this through solar, battery storage, heat pumps, geothermal systems, EV chargers, and smart electrical panels. You can read more about Sundial here. We are seeking a committed, results-oriented Energy Advisor to guide our customers toward their optimal clean energy solution for their home or business. Our needs are two-fold, and your exact job description will depend on your particular skills, experience, and interests. Both of these sales-oriented skill sets are critical to our growth.
Prospecting Responsibilities and Skills:
- Generate your own solar and battery leads. Must have a proven track record of results from past prospecting activities, preferably in the solar or home improvement space.
- Possess skills and experience in two or more of the following prospecting tactics: grassroots organizing, partnership-building / business development, event staffing, canvassing, referral programs, social media, and personal brand building.
- Some weekend and evening availability required.
Sales Responsibilities and Skills:
- Provide an excellent customer experience, from the first inquiry to post-installation.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and supporting energy savings analysis to prospective customers in a professional and consistent manner.
- Become an expert in our products and services, as well as net metering, financing, and solar design tools.
- Ability to maintain and grow a customer pipeline and referral base.
- Some travel is required.
Both Areas:
- Passion for clean energy.
- Proven track record in sales, prospecting, and/or business development.
- Solar or home improvement sales experience is a major plus, as is proficiency in CRM tools.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently.
