Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major with a strong accounting focus.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in the energy industry preferred or required for II/4+ years for III.
• CPA is preferred for advancement within the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external customers.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.
• Process large data sets and accounting information for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and streamlined processes.
• Mentor or guide less experienced colleagues as applicable for II/III levels.
